Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and figured that I would drop by the political forums first since it is my subject of choice. It is a pleasure to be among all you fellow political junkies. [IMG]

With that being said, on to the meat of the subject! I have been a member of many political forums and have been censored simply because my political Ideals are not the same. [IMG] I show the utmost respect to those I debate with because I believe that all men deserver respect no matter what you think of their political views and it is most frustrating to be banned from a forum because someone doesn't agree with you. So I was wondering, what are your views on censorship on the internet for political disagreements rather than lack of respect twords individuals?

well... I believe if your being censored it probably because your striking the nerve and making a good argument. This is a free speech forum so rant your head off.... watch this:

"I AM THE ANTICHRIST AND WILL DOMINATE THE UNIVERSE THROUGH YOUR MICROWAVE OVENS AND TOASTERS!"

Welcome dude, like they said you shouldn't encounter much censorship here.

Though I'm curious... whatever got Changeyourlatitude banned?

Off the top of my head, barring keeping hardcore pornography from being viewed by pre-adolescent kids, I'm against just about any form of censorship.

Well I am glad you all will not censor me for my views. With that being said, props to the war in Iraq, Kerry is a scumbag, Reagan was one of this countries greatest presidents, I hope bush gets reelected, abortion is murder, and gun controll is the worst Idea since sunny and cher.

Well when you offer views without support its kinda hard to take someone serious. Care to elaborate on your views man? Cause now you just sound like every other conservative I've met

[IMG]Seize him!! Prepare the tar and feathers!

... just kidding. You're free to say what you will, of course. Though we'll of course argue them. [IMG]

Eh, we should wait and give him a chance to post on the various threads and contest his views there. He was just giving a short summary of his viewpoints. At any rate I wasn't expecting left-wing views from someone screennamed "West Point."

hehe, Exactly. Not looking to open a debate here, just a way of saying I'm a right winger. Besides, I have no desire to back up all those statements in one topic, and i'm sure noone here has any desire to read such a post.
