Just returned to this thread after posting one time on my mom’s behalf so she could find a friend she could have real conversations with and saw this on your socialism thread : “This thread seems to have been created to sow division and disharmony amongst the liberal free-thinking HipForums members. As such it has been closed.” I would just like to deeply thank the moderators here for censoring the crazy, dangerous humans with their wild ideas. Its wonderful that we have noble men and women willing to risk their moral values to squash off-color thoughts that might harm the psyche of fragile Americans who are too elderly and feeble to handle independent thinking. I feel like we’re really on the right track here in achieving the goals laid out for us by George Orwell and Lois Lowry. It’s about high time that we abandoned the kind of thinking that sewed the seeds of dissent among Americans who raged against the Government’s totalitarian attitude regarding the Vietnam war and the war on drugs. Thank god we now have the means to control the people so as to shut them up so we can all move towards a race that shares one set of values and beliefs. America has needed this kind of unity for a long time. It’s one of the things we lack. So many Americans, especially the hippies, have different ideas, values, and beliefs, and are willing to take it way too far by providing evidence and logic to back up their views. We need to nip that kind of poor behavior in the bud if we want to unify under one government and one mind to herald a future in which the children of America won’t know any better but to believe the dogma their parents have taught them - the dogma thats best for us all. Nothing could be more dangerous than the things people say online. Nothing. Not nuclear warfare or the loss of individual freedoms or evolutionary progress as a species towards enlightenment. We need to control these radical freaks who are challenging the status quo. So I just want to say, as a Millennial who deeply believes in manipulating free people by stifling their rights so we can all move towards a socialistic, communistic, rainbow filled future - thank you moderators for your service. I will definitely continue to come back to this community any time I have thoughts and ideas that check off all the boxes for things we’re allowed to say. I’ll have to think carefully on it and word my messages just so. I would hate to disturb someone’s mind with my dangerous ideology.
