yeah, i made this outfit to go to OTR, which is a big caver's party event being held this weekend in west virginia. i am REALLY bummed that we couldn't make it, espescially as i made this outfit for it. now i'm just slouching around glen burnie looking all gothippie and morose. i am not too happy about the top, but hey it was my first attempt at making one...i like the way the skirt turned out nice and full, i cut the fabric on the bias and it flows beautifully.
i was right next to glen burnie today...right in arnold the dress is very nice....you can wear it for halloween nowi am loving the fabric
oh i live in calvert county.... but i used to live in arnold....actually....worked at the Home Depot in Annapolis for years but no longer do.... so i was up there taking my daughter to Chuckie Cheese and also to visit some friends that are still in that area.... eek, sorry i didnt visit....for my crystal ball giving me the compass of directions was all but broken today....*curtsies* please do pardon
lol @ gothippie... i think that looks fabulous...esp for yer first apron top..i like the ties in the back... that fabric is wicked..
aw thanks. no not really, the apron top i modeled after tops i have seen women make here, and the skirt is a four panel skirt, each piece approximately 12 inches at the top and a little more than double that at the bottom...a kind of angled rectangle shape ( i can't think of the name for that shape lol). i love that fabric too, and it's so soft!
