Would you feel comfortable living or working in the vicinity of a cell tower? There are two cell masts on top of the building where I work, and it seems funny that whenever I arrive at work I almost immediately feel completely drained and have little energy. I am a very healthy person, and I normally feel good and have lots of energy, but when I get to work that all changes. At first I thought it could be due to the fact that it is always unreasonably warm inside the building where I work. Then I considered environmental factors, like airborne allergens (mold, dust, etc.). Lately I have been wondering if it could be from the cell masts on the top of the building, or a combination of the aforementioned things. I think it's pretty fucked up that workplaces, apartments, businesses, etc. don't have to disclose to their workers/tenants/customers that there are cells masts on the top of their buildings. I found out about the masts at my workplace myself, because I have had to let people from Clearwire and T-Mobile up to the roof to work on these masts at night, but never has it been disclosed to the workers or residents that there are these two cell masts on top of the building. The cell companies and the studies which have been funded by these companies all say that cell towers pose no health risks, but the few independent studies that have been done have shown otherwise, and that everything within at least a square mile of these towers is adversely affected. Electromagnetic smog is a huge problem in this age of cell phones and wireless internet we are living in, but we rarely hear about it because that would be bad for business. Instead, we're lied to and told that it's safe and that there is nothing to worry about. It's just like how we have the FDA telling us certain drugs are safe, when we know the FDA has a revolving door between themselves and these drug companies, and gets massive amounts of money to lie and say that certain drugs are safe when they're not. It's amazing that corporations have such a stranglehold over the truth when it comes to the safety and well-being of people who are being adversely affected by their dubious practices. It's not a surprise to me, because the entire system is corrupt, but it really makes me mad when I think about it.
Have a friend that works on cell towers for a living, one of the most healthy people I know. Have another relative who was a chronic cell phone user died of a brain cancer. Do you feel you have a life outside of work and a life at work? Could be a subconscious aversion to having to divide your time in such a way. A hint might be if you find yourself anxious to get back to your real life or to things you more enjoy when you are at work.
It would make me uncomfortable when I would feel the same things as you, not if I didn't feel anything different of course, nor would I check the building's roof for such things before I feel anything like what you're experiencing. It's one of those things you don't pay attention to I guess, until your interest is triggered in some way (as in your situation).
Can you say psychosomatic If you can’t accept that then follow this link http://www.electricsense.com/3-free-chapters.html Hotwater
A friend of mine lives at an appartment where they have cell masts on top of his building. And guess what, he is still alive!!!
i've seen the ugly ones that they try to dress up as trees.... fail, it's like they've never seen a tree before.
The radiation form cell phones if in the frequency of 800mhz to 3ghz, right in the same band as AM/FM radio. It is considered non-ionizing, the radio wave is too large to hit an atom and break away a spare electron, what makes ionizing radiation dangerous. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:EM_spectrum.svg
high voltage power lines have a really bad effect on me if im near them but i cant say ive ever noticed anything when im near a cell tower
Maybe the cell towers are making you sick, but it could be other things. I think from the chinese medicine perspective, being around the disease chi of a lot of sick old folks is pretty bad for you. Maybe go to a place where they have cell phone towers, but no old people and see if you feel any different. Regardless, if working there makes you feel sick, the reason doesn't really matter. I recommend that you see if there is another place where you might work.
Pretty much every cell phone in the North American market has a similar design, and has two operating systems. One is the Android or IOS or whatever operating system the user interacts with. The other is designed for radio id, taking and making calls, SMS, receiving the time from the carrier. These operating systems were designed in the 90's things like Motorola and Qualcomm, and as such have a pretty 90's design to their software, will run anything it's given. It's how they can track your phone even when you turn it off. If you could broadcast a strong enough signal, you could pretty much brick any phone in the vicinity.
there is a cell tower not far from me. they painted it brown to look like the trunk of a tree, and attatched tree branches to it to make it look like a tree. i watched them doing this over a period of much of this past year. a most curious sight indeed. it is a good camoflage. you have to look really closely to see that it isn't just one very tall tree. it seems a strange thing to do. i don't know if they did this because they thought the neighbors might complain that it was unsightly being where it is, or so that if people go on a rampage against the mechanisms of authority, it might go unnoticed and thus spared. whatever the reason, it looks ok, but just seems a really strange thing to do. i mean, i don't mean to criticize, it does look good, it just seemed really strange, seeing these tree branches being attached to this metal tower that is taller then anything else within a mile or two of it.
I worked in a power generating station for 13 years before I promoted to my new position at work. There all kinds of electro-magnetic waves bouncing around there. They are different wavelengths than cell tower radio waves but still powerful. I never felt any different inside the station than when I was away from work (except I was happier when I was not working). I actually felt better all around back then compared to how I feel at my position at work now. Some of the guys I worked with said they felt weird walking beside the generator, which produces much electromagnetic radiation - different wavelengths from cell radio waves thpugh. Years ago when I lived in an apartment that had ceiling heat (heating coils in the ceiling), I would feel sick to my stomach if I stood in a certain spot in the apartment when the heat was on. I always though it was electromagnetic field causing it. Friends that came over felt the same thing. Could have been placebo effect though. IF it was the coils, I can see how cell radio waves might make one sick.
no confused, high voltage lines are in a typical configuration, spaced out to cancel emf.. without such spacing in the bundles, it would cause radio/cell interference..
