so i just bought a new machine with vista on it...now when i burn cd's they dont play on my cd player...i'm guessing because its burned as mp3...is there any way to get around this?
use CD burning software. maybe WMP (windows media player) has a utility for burning music CD's. it did on XP. Good Luck.
I have XP and have to use Windows Media Player instead of the mp3 conversion software-I just talked to a friend last night and she said she just bought a small dvd player that will play EVERYTHING! for under 100 bucks- thats the way to go IMO-
psh, yeah! burn all your mp3's onto a DVD-R and play them. you can fit 4.4Gb on one DVD compared to 700Mb on one CD. what is the difference in price from DVD-R's and CD-R's? like a penny. i just have my surround sound system hooked up to my computer though. i play everything from it. except when i drive i listen to mp3's on my mp3/CD/radio deck.
Hopefully someday soon these companies will quit messin with the burning public and use one or two formats for everything-If they tried-all media and formats could and should be interchangeable.-
