Has anyone read this book? I completed it recently, and it's definitely the most thorough biography of Marley you'll ever see. Unfortunately, at times, I thought it had too much information. But it was a very well-written book.

Yeah, it's great book, most music bios are pretty shallow or written by obsessive fans, but this is in a different class.

Well, at least it will have almost anything you want to know about Bob Marley. Kind of reminds me of a biography of John Lennon. I loved reading about him , I just wish they had more information as in his peace activism, not as much as in the statistical information of his records or whatever.

I got my copy for 3 pounds (4-5 dollars ?) brand new. Surely it must be another book you're thinking of

I loved it. It was hard to read at times, but I felt I got to know him rather intimately, which I cannot say about most of the other biographies I've read. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys Bob Marley's music and/or biographies.
