When casing fully colonized substrate if you are going to cold shock would you do it before or after you case? also when do you start fruiting cased substrate. right now a little myc. is poking through my straight vermic case. thanks
dont cold shock, its pretty pointless. right after you see the myclium pop up in several places. patch them, then begin fruiting.
cool.. ive had it incubating with casing for 1 day now and it has one or two spots poking through... wait another day, patch with wet casing, then fruiting chamber? thanks a lot
make sure the myc is popping up evenly. if its not then patch, if it is popping up evenly, then go ahead and put it in the fruiting chamber.
but definately not anywhere near as informative as the shroomery.. if some guy's friend is growing mushrooms and they opt to ask about their friends questions on hip forums over the shroomery... i dunno, i am an ass =(
