I think this is the greatest movie ever made. I've watched it countless times and still pick up on things I didn't see before. Now I want to try and get my kids to watch it. My son is a huge WWII buff so I'm kind of surprised I'm having a hard time getting him to watch. Does anyone else watch this movie as often as possible?
I'll have to watch this again. I saw it years ago and wasn't impressed. This and Citizen Kane are the two that are almost universally in the running for the greatest film ever made. I was always more team Citizen Kane than team Casablanca. Casablanca, while a solid story and one of the best scripts for the medium of film, it still played it safe. Citizen Kane changed the way movies were made. It was the more ambitious film and a filmmaker's film
Its a great film no doubt. I have seen it a couple of times but have no desire to "play it again" and again.
