This one of my friends bands new album.
They call it Doom, but it doesn't sound like Doom to me. I love it. my friend plays the bass. First song is wicked. I guess I can hear the Doom, but it's too upbeat for classic Doom.. Then again I don't know lol. I bought this on iTunes then I message him and say oi big nutz I bought your album, $18 for a download??? Best be sending me a physical copy!
So he's sending me a CD lol. Pretty sure they recorded this in new York. I seen them live a few times but before they were big. Now they get shows all over the place.

My sisters cat used to be real destructive it would just claw open anything, ripped sides of lounges out. I wouldn't have been able to stand that. I woulda put the size 7 steel cap to it for sure.

Someone's car door blew open in the wind and it stopped by hitting my truck. and I got out fuming too but no damage there was a mark and I rubbed it away thankfully but I have all his details anyway.

Doom often crosses over with stoner these days. This seems to fit in that 'trend'. Good sound, bad vocals (imo, but im very critical ), not really intriguing song/composition. Its sounds like something already done in a similar way too many times. Which is ok if i love the particulars of what they're doing. But that is rarely so for me and this way of mixing doom and stoner..

 

I don't think there are dinos in Ice age either lol
