So I went to my friends house. Im 18 we drink a lil bit you know how it goes. Then we go to another friends apartment and hang out. I go out to my car to straighten it out in the parking space and I back out to hit another car. My bumper is completely gone. My car is in my dads name. The cops dont give me a ticket and I have insurance. So my parents are reading me the riot act you see? I bassically tell them to fuck off becouse no one was hurt and its not the end of the world. I dont have a job right now, but Ive got the money to fix "my" car. My dad might take "my" car away witch I am fine with being as I never asked for a car. I am my own person and except the responsability for what i did is that not enouph. I cant move out but I now hate my parents and wish to never see them. What should I do?
Oh yeah my dad blamed it on me being with my friend becouse he is italian and my dad is a rascist bastard. He actually was mad at me for wearing a martin luther king shirt the other day.
You hate your parents because they got angry about the car accident? Dude, I would accept a yell from them after that, they're your parents after all, maybe they were upset? People really should show some understanding to the situation of the other, parents too of course, but especially kids like you. And if I was your dad and you told me to fuck off after that I don't know if you'd be coming out of it like you have now. So you hate them because you pissed them off even more after you damaged your dads car? Really righteouss.. You should make some apologies.
I think you should act like the adult you now are, especially if you expect the respect and privileges of one. Your parents are obviously going to be angry. Any parent would be upset about a situation like this. No, you did not harm anyone, but that is not the point. You were acting careless, so of course they are not going to be happy. Everyone makes mistakes, especially at age 18, but you should be working to better yourself instead of hating your parents for a normal reaction. As far as your father being racist, well, that's his problem. He will one day pay the price for being the way he is, so just ignore his hateful comments and keep moving on.
