i had a relationship end just before new years and have had 2 great gf's since then but for a about the last week and a half to 2 weeks i just havn't been able to stop thinking about my my ex from new years. i fine as long as im busy like if im working on my car or hanging with friends i dont see too often but as soon as i try to relax or dont have anything on the go she is the first thing i start to think about and she is all i can think about for the rest of the day.
it fealt like i had to tell someone jusdt to get if off my chest to see if it would help. Any advice would be appreciated... dont know if i should call and see if she want to try things again or not... any advice is good

    thanks

If you want to stop thinking about a girl, think about her taking a nasty vile, hour long shit that plasters the entire bowl with specks of fecal matter.

    That works.

or you could try getting in contact with her and see if shes single at the moment, then go for it. fyi find out if shes single or not before flirtations or "ive been thinking about you a lot lately", otherwise its awkward as hell when she tells you she just moved in with her bf

I agree with Allonym... but be aware that exes are exes for a reason. And think about the reason you broke up in the first place before trying it again. I mean, if it was because she had another guy on the side or something like that, then forget it. But if it was because you two wanted different things at that time or something similar, then good luck!! :)

you should try calling her or something. Then maybe you'll stop thinking about her once you tell her how you feel.

I have the same problem but mine is worse. More like an obsession because my friendship with a woman ended because I didn't take it any further (I have anxiety problems). I would be interested to know why you keep thinking of her. Was the relationship unresolved in someway?

we both worked alot at the time and slowly just seperated to where we didnt talk anymore so i guess in a way there was no 'official breakup' but we both read between the lines i guess and on our own decided it wasnt going to work and went our seperate ways.

thanks for advice by the way and i did try call but there was no answer so i took that as a sign that it wasnt meant to be.

Good way to look at it.
If it WAS meant to be, then it would have been.
