    A company based in Soquel, Calif., has created a new line of soda pot, a cannabis cola, which it plans to launch in Colorado this February. Though "Canna Cola" isn't the first cannabis soda out there. It's creator Clay Butler, who claims to have never used cannabis nor smoked a cigarette is a, "firm believer that adults have an inalienable right to think, eat, smoke, drink, ingest, decorate, dress any way they choose," and he claims that his product will be more marketable than its competition because, "You look at all the marijuana products out there, and they are so mom-and-pop, hippie-dippy and rinky-dink."

    The label of the drink claims, "12 mind blowing ounces," for about $10-$15 a bottle. At 35 to 65 milligrams of THC per bottle the drink is noticeably less potent than the other cannabis cola drinks out there.

    Butler's soda pot line will include the "flagship cola drink Canna Cola, the Dr Pepper–like Doc Weed, the lemon-lime Sour Diesel, the grape-flavored Grape Ape and the orange-flavored Orange Kush."

    I happen to love "mom-and-pop, hippie-dippy and rinky-dink."

    I got the impression from;

    that Butler is a business man, not a cannabis enthusiast.

    I don't like chocolate. I would not launch a candy line, although I might finance one in an enthusiast's hands.

    If the goodies are in clubs/dispensaries, which have limits on who can be there, would Feinstein's law apply? Or would it be more like flavored vodkas/brandies?

    This is why a national law would be nice. Mostly.

    Pretty weak, and definitely not worth the price!

    120 mgs would be a half-way decent dose. If medical patients need a big dose, they'd get too much sugar if they have to drink several of these.

    "Mom-and-pop, hippie-dippy and rinky-dink" sounds like exactly what I want.

    In that case, sounds like he's just trying to rip people off who wouldn't know better and make money.

    Cannabis is a healthy, beneficial plant. Imagine the average kid drinking a bunch of these and getting themselves loaded with sugar or high fructose corn syrup.

    He's trying to stereotype and make them sound old. Pah.

    I wonder if he's going into this thinking he could make the next Coca-Cola. Lame.

    That's how I saw it. It seems like he's trying get it across that his drink is the future of cannabis infused drinks. Just as I wouldn't buy pot off someone who doesn't smoke it, I probably wouldn't buy a weed infused drink off someone who doesn't enjoy the (base) product.
