Not been to Berlin, but your photos help me to get a good feel for what it's like. Reminds me of London, but with all the names in German. Although I did notice that there's a lot of English headings as well. Probably due to the Allied Occupational Forces that used to inhabit it while it was in East Germany and the Cold War was on. I must admit I quite like Germany. The only time I ever went there was in the summer of 1974, when I hitchhiked around Europe with my girlfriend of the time. We went to France, Belgium, Holland, then into Germany at SaarBrucken, across to Marburg, then down to Ulm, where we took the time to climb up the many many steps to the top of the 520ft tall cathedral spire (very tiring!). Then back through Germany to Luxembourg, Belgium, France and then home. I'd like to go back there again, but with the current health climate, and Brexit complicating things, it probably won't be for a while. Anyway, thaniks for posting up your very clear and detailed photos Candy. I hope you feel better soon, and if you have any more photos, then please post them up.
I know, the pictures are great but was your visit really for espionage on behalf of the intelligence service?
