i always remember because there was an uncomfortable silence when i last talked to the guy who sold me the car. after that long silence i asked about the gas cap and i walked around his side to see what kind it has. so now whenever i pull up to get gas i remember how i walked around to the other side of my car and i remember that long uncomfortable silence. it was only really uncomfortable because the deal was done i mean dude its my car now why the fuck are you still in it? but i am too polite to actually say that to him.

 

I have a black young fat shiny bird liing in the hen house....I just had to crawl in cause they laid eggs at the far end and I have that door blocked for winter

so I crawl in and right there on the perch right alongside my senior nastiest hen is a black bird....he didn't freak out or anything....

i'll try and get a pic tomorrrow cause its nasty outside.....I saw him in there a few days back but I thought he flew out

he's plump...tons of food in there...and water...he's black but has those shiny feathers that shimmer green with maybe some tiny highlights...

Just bought the hot water coil for the woodstove... Guy makes them in the USA. (Not that it's rocket science, just nice to not see that made in China sticker on everything) Most of my big dollar appliance purchases have been made here...

also they tend to place the gauges so that needle straight up is normal...like temp/oil pressure and voltage....or at least a tiny dot to show where normal is

was starting to wonder if it was am or pm when i woke up at 5:30 but the sun finally came up at 7 ummmm am.

 

my mom used to make us buy her fathers day presents when we were kids because she did the fatherly duties on top of the motherly thing.

 

do you listen to his podcast broony? I used to listen pretty often when I was working alone in a warehouse and then when I was delivering newspapers in the middle of the night, helped to pass the time. I found that it ended up getting pretty repetitive though. I guess it's pretty hard to avoid repeating the same stories and topics when you've recorded hundreds of 3 hour episodes.
