    Well I wanted to know if any one here paid for a item on paypal well at least the merchant and then the next day they wanted to cancel the item.

    what steps did you take? I did a claims return to the merchant but she hasnt replied and also did a claims to paypal in canceling this transaction but they haven't gotten back at me.

    should i call the bank? but am afriad they'll telling me to call the merchant or paypal to cancel this......which i did do. I checked my bank account online and I saw that the transaction has taken place or shown up.

    does anyone know how to cancel transactions on paypal?

    My only experience with this is this;

    I bought something on ebay, realised the money wasn't in my paypal account, then the bank took it out anyways. I paid for the item with a credit card then went to the bank to show them the item was paid for and that the money should be returned to my paypal account. They were actually pretty good about it.

    If you bought the item then changed your mind, you may be out of luck. I think you have to get "permission" first from the seller to back out of the deal. If they allow refunds then they should return your money to your paypal account.

    I'd go into your bank, if you just call they'll probably put you off until it's too late. You should (or should have) checked the print on the page of the item you bought first. It would have said there if you're allowed refunds. If not then you're probably not going to get that money back. Good luck

    thanks i guess am going to print the paypal page that shows the payment made and show it to a banker.

    I finally spoke to a paypal rep and they tolled me that i had to go to the bank 2morrow and have the transaction canceled bcuz paypal doesnt have the power to stop the bank transaction since its now between the seller and bank.

    Yea. Unfortunately you'll probably receive negative feedback from the seller. That can tarnish you buyer/seller credibility.
