that's the problem they hate their education, they assume that this is what learning is, and it'll turn them off to it the rest of their lives. science isn't sitting in a huge plastic room with 40 other people born the same year as you, answer questions on worksheets and cutting up dead animals. it's watching the seasons change, learning about the trees and the birds and how to treat a cut. math doesn't have to be from a textbook, it doesn't have to be tests and white paper and black printed letters staring up at you for an hour a day, then following you home, it can be puzzles and crosswords and measuring and baking! we just need to open our eyes, we can make a generation of people who learn! we just need to see!
