It's proven with me that I cannot. That's why I rarely by them. Lately the only chips I have been buying have chia and flax seeds. So, if I do eat eat more than one at least it's healthier.
it is possible, although only when i'm completely full already. i don't usually eat chips though, so it doesn't come up that often.
My mom used to get upset at her boyfriend because he would always ask for one when she had chips. And he would always only eat one.
i don't eat them, i plug them into white boards. though its been a while since the last time i did that either.
remember when they came in paper bags ...paper with a thin foil of some sort on it those tasted better than plastic bag ones
Oh crisps, I thought you meant chips. Crisps used to come in plastic bags here, now they come in giant paper bags with foil linings. It's the other way about here. Time must be going backwards for one of us.
Sun crisp put theirs in a paper bag saying it helped the environment but people complained about the noise so they went to plastic.
i'd probably eat about half the bag or so if i ever bought any. i think about once or twice a year is as often as i do. i'm not sure i remember the last time i did though. i buy roasted unsalted picans and sunflower seeds and things like that when i find them sometimes though. not even those all the time. i'm one of those old farts who has to stay away from too much salt.
It's ok to eat a half or whole bag of chips (crisps) every once in awhile. It's getting concerning when one does it several times a week. To answer the thread topic: NO, of course I don't stop after just one, it is abnormal (and people who can and do should not be trusted). Therefor I rarely buy a bag of chips when I'm on my own and when I do I make the same mistake as usual and then don't buy the next bag until several months later. This is the normal procedure.
just noticed the title is wrong, it sounds as if you are pleading with a kid to eat; "Can you just eat 1 fucking chip, dammit!" should have worded it "Can you eat just 1 chip?" that's all.....
