I was just wondering whether subconscious images and feelings can be seen as dreams while you're awake? I was reading through this board, and started to subconsciously think about some of the interpretations, and somehow connecting some things to my situation. I've noticed in the past a kind of "subconscious pull" or a feeling kind of like an intuition towards certain things, people, or things that happen or are said. Also, I have some schizophrenic flashes or images that happen in the back of my mind. Is there any chance these things could be related to the dream state, or could have meanings of their own in that respect?

during the first stage of non-rem sleep , that is, right before you fall asleep, most people have those socalled 'hypnagogic hallucinations', which are those quick dreams that you usually have and wake up quickly when your sleepy

That's interesting. Would these "dreams" have meanings, or interpretations, seeing as they're the products of the subconscious mind?

we believe that our dreams of manifestations of our subconscious mind. No proof or evidence exist that proves that they are that.

probably not at the same time as i was walking and chewing gum.
i'm not sure if you could say i was technically awake at the time either.
although it has felt like i was awake with my eyes open and doing other things at the same time. but in reality i'm guessing i'd actually dozed off and re-awakened without realizing it.

If you want to try it follow my lead :)

First off you will have to do some research and experimenting. First get to know lucid dreams. Secondly, Learn to induce Sleep paralysis. Thirdly, Learn to stop sleep paralysis. fourthly :D Try an move in your sleep. Or during Paralysis.

I recommend not diving too deep into this, you will probably go crazy and not know when you are dreaming. But I bet it would be fun living a dream? Conquering Fears, Learning in your sleep, etc.

And If you do decide to go down a path like that, let me know I need a partner :)

I'd have to say so, I possibly suffer from Asperger's syndrome and I go off in my own world throughout the day. My thoughts will get so vivid I'll be in a new realm and then pop back into this world, almost like a short dream. I don't know if this is usual, but I've experienced it. And it isn't dangerous, it usually happens when I'm bored and just thinking about things, not if I'm driving or in a conversation, so it's just day dreaming really.

With my experience with LSD and even weed, I can be with a group of friends, and all of the sudden get sucked into a new world for just a little while. It feels hazy looking back, but I know it's really vivd when I see it - much like a dream. So I'd say yes
