Mobile, Alabama?... or did you go to Houston. Aw man, Paddy. I hope you'll be okay. We had that tropical storm come through and a tornado hit our house. Power was out for a day. It didn't touch down but it ripped the fucking storm door off and it ripped the directv dish off of the chimney.

I'm still in teh Mobile, like directly in front of the storm at about 11 o'clock. I just added a pic to my gallery from what it looks like out my back door, just behind me. It's kinda boring though.

Oh, wow. I need to get a new digital cam... I want to starm some kind of website for hurricane shit and take pictures before, during, after, damage, etc. oeehahah. OMG... that would be so fun to trip or get baked during a hurricane.


EDIT.... Oh fuck, it's a Cat 4... 140mph sustained.

 

Yeah, the winds have slowed a little. I'm not getting baked, but I do plan on drinking.

 

Whooo.... yeah, we always have a hurricane party. My parents are like "who the fuck cares, if we all die in this storm, at least we're going together in style" so people in the neighborhood and my parents friends all sleep in sleeping bags and shit and they all put their money together to buy fuel for the generator and we have electricity and everything and everyone is just all sitting around eating fingerfood and drinking and they're like "invite whoever you want, I don't care" and I invite like six or seven people over. Haahah... sometimes I like it when hurricanes hit...

 

I don't have a generator, but that won't stop me from getting trashed.

 

Ahahaha... that's the spirit. We always end up running out of fuel and listening to a bunch of boomboxes on batteries anyway.

 

Haha yeah, last time I was just listening to music and chilling, I still toked back then. I wish I had some liquor though, all I've got is beer.

I kinda wish it was hitting this area. I love hurricanes. All the tourists go away then.

 

Haha this is kinda disappointing. It was supposed to be all big and shit, but it's barely even raining now.. I should be having tropical storm force conditions right now damnit.

Maybe that's cos I'm too far away for it to actually do real damage...but close enough to get bad weather...

Sure doesn't seem like it. According to that pic I should be in some of the worst of it right now... It's barely raining.
