Before I ask, Hi to everybody. :2thumbsup: I've been a long time visitor and I'm glad I finally signed up and now a member of Hip forums. Thanks to everyone for the massive informative comments and threads here. :-} I've taken vicodins and hydro codeines almost 3 years now after a surgery I had. My tolerance is high but also sustained to a low level. I don't take over 4 mellows per day (Watson 853/10mg-325). So my question...:svengo: I try to increase my euphoria using this method. NOW correct me if I'm wrong.. or if I should change it a little. I take 1 1/2 pill of Watson 853 in the morning WITH either ibuprofen (200mg) or a Tylenol. (of course I eat a meal first) Reason why is cuz I think the pain reliever (ibuprofen) helps boost the codeine high as a muscle relaxer. Does this help or should I switch to like Advil/Acetaminophen/Tylenol or another easy to get pain reliever medicine? Thanks y'all.
(ibuprofen) Advil/ < This is the same thing. Acetaminophen/Tylenol < This is the same thing. Ook thats straighted out for ya,, you think, therefore you believe .. nothing wrong with that. its sometimes important to have a belief system with the substance you are taking. but ibuprofen has some better muscle pain relief . Acetaminophen is harder on your liver, Ibuprofen harder on your stomach.. combining them harder on both liver and stomach. there isnt enough of the combination of the drugs for you to worry about anything to severe., When staying under 1000Mg for both Acetaminophen Ibuprofen..
Thanks Orison. For some reason I thought the Ibuprofen was helping. Even though I don't know what else to take besides ibuprof,tylenol,advil.. What i'm asking if there's something on shelf or on counter I can get that adds to the codeine for example Caffeine: Paracetamol/RedBulls/Starbucks :willy_nilly: Muscle relaxer: (without a prescription) Tylenol/Ibuprofen/Advil
I copy/pasted this from another site. It mentions Cimetadine, but not Omeprazole for some reason. I take Omeprazole myself, and it does seem to potentiate Hydrocodone "somewhat". I've also used white grapefruit juice, and it too works, at least a little. But grapefruit juice can also increase blood levels of certain other medications, such as "statin" anti-cholesterol meds, so be careful if you're taking any other medications. CODEINE -Grapefruit juice (fresh works best, do not use sweetened grapefruit drinks you need the straight juice) -Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) -Promethazine (Phenergan) - Take after administering codeine, high will be shortened if taken before -Orphenadrine -Cyclobenzaprine -Doxylamine Succinate (Active ingredient in NyQuil) HYDROCODONE -Grapefruit juice -Diphenhydramine -Orphenadrine -Doxylamine Succinate MORPHINE -Diphenhydramine HEROIN -Diphenhydramine -Grapefruit Juice (May not enhance high, but will lengthen it due to enzymes inhibiting the metabolism of the drug and elongating the duration of the high.) OXYCODONE -Diphenhydramine -Cimetadine (Tagamet) take one hour before your opiate HYDROMORPHONE MEPERIDINE FENTANYL OPIUM -Cimetedine -Propoxyphene (Darvocet) -Diphenhydramine METHADONE -Cat's claw (herbal) ---------------------------
Now that I think about it, taking Opiates on a full stomach no matter what you use to potentiate it, is a lost cause. Take them on an empty stomach. Having said that, if you are attempting to get more out of the same dose you've been taking, you are picking a fight with Tolerance and Tolerance always wins!
Yeah, that's also true. In fact, the warning literature that comes with my Hydrocodone says to take it on an empty stomach.
white grapefruit juice, but i do believe you have to drink quite a bit of it several hours before, during and after you dose (up to a gallon). also reported to work with DXM too. ruby red grapefruit juice tastes better, but apparently does not work.
The times I did it I would drink a large can, which was maybe 52-54 oz., about 2 hours before. It did help, but I wouldn't say it was dramatic. A gallon seems like quite a bit though. I like grapefruit juice, but I don't know if I could even get a gallon of it down.
For some reason every time I've tried grapefruit juice it's made the legs last way longer but it's also made me really sick and nauseas. Normally I don't experience any nausea at all at this point even with high doses. Anyone know why it could be making me sick?
