Can psychic ability be learned?

Can I improve my psychic ability? I have vague intuitions that aren't always accurate, and I'd like to hone my abilities somehow. Is it just something you have to have a knack for, or is there any significant room for improvement in people with average ability?

Yes, anyone can open to their intuitive and psychic ability. To begin with all living things are intuitive and psychic. The challenge is we have learned how to shut down this part of our nature. Society has offered us conditioning and fears to help us maintain our closure. The reason for this closure was the open vulnerability one feels the deeper they go into living in their full awareness.

When a person gets lost in the "WOW", the "ME" and for Selfish Gain, and Manipulation of another's will they harm their own natures and ability, thus giving birth to many fakes and frauds. There is personal accountability and respect that must be developed as you open to your natural ability.

With that said Psychic ability and Intuitive ability grow when they interact with the elements. There are 8 major elements that are like spokes on a wheel. When one learns to become one with the elements they open as natural as a flower opens to the sun light. They naturally walk into their knowing. Keep in mind an individual will only see and know others as deeply and clearly as they know their own Being. The first two questions I ask in class's I teach are, 1. Who are You? and 2. Why are You here?

Each individual leans toward a certain strength and aspect of their Psychic ability, depending on where their intent is. To stay open and not get locked into one way of thinking, or doing offers a wider range for the natural ability to express itself.

I have thought about asking Skip, {the creator of this web site} about teaching on Psychic ability because of the miss guided and lack of understanding on how Psychic ability works, but so far have only thought due to lack of time on my part.

Most people get the cart before the horse so to speak. They are grasping at the blade of the chainsaw and hoping to beat down the proverbial tree in the forest. This is the way most people learn. The truth is this approach has so distorted what Psychic ability and Intuitive awareness is.

By the way, Your aura is interesting. Its a bit like looking at a science fiction field of flowers where the flowers are green and the stems and leaves are different colors. I can hear you saying, "sometimes its hard being me." Remember Life is only an opportunity and becomes what you make of it.

 

Yes you can improve your psychic ability but most people make the mistake of projecting their thoughts outward instead of inward.

By fully exploring your inner-self you begin to understand what drives and motivates others to take the actions they do; for alas we're only human, and we are all driven by the same needs, wants, and desires.

The way I first started developing telepathy was, I had a spiritual mentor who motivated me (maybe "manipulated and maneuvered" would be more accurate) to try to hear her telepathic "voice." I told myself, "She's in here somewhere - I just need to find her." So I quieted my mind and looked for the stirrings of her mind in mine - and found her. Everything "out there" is also "in here."

And yes, she and her cohorts have certainly "helped" me to learn who I am...there's some pretty nasty stuff in there, but we need to know, and accept ourselves for what we are, if we hope to psychically connect with others.

And btw, the universe takes your intention as its command...the only thing is, the road to where you want to go may turn out very different from anything you might have expected. You might think you're on the wrong road altogether, but it ain't so - just always remember and visualize your destination, and the universe will get you there.

That's interesting that the stalks are different colors and the pedals are green. I've actually been obsessed with oneness and the concept of duality recently, the idea that two seemingly separate forms can be one in the same. ...but yah, sometimes it is hard being me. I truly feel like an oddball often

 

like guitar hero vs actually being able to know how to play. or knowing how to play but approximating the sound of blues but not actually playing the blues.

 

The universe is a reflection of out minds, or our minds are a reflection of it. That's odd u mention the telepathic voice. I had a dream this morning that I discovered something like what you're describing and was having an intimate conversation with a dead person through my thoughts. lol

 

When you start thinking about it and looking for it in your life, it starts showing up.

I like to say that I don't talk to dead people, cuz I have enough problems talking to the living.

But one time I was exchanging emails with my living spirit guide Deanna about my telepathic communication with her, and in her cryptic way she sent me a one-line email asking, "So what happens to you...if I die?" She had been diagnosed with cancer for the second time at that point, and thought she might be dying. I told her I didn't know, but I figured I would just go on "hearing" her voice in my mind as always. She didn't reply, which I took as affirmation. A question from her means I need to think about something; silence means I'm on the right track. LOL In my mind she told me I would know when she dies - but she didn't supply any details. So that's about all I know about that. However I have talked to disembodied spirits on a few occasions.

And btw she appears to have defeated cancer - she had a test early this year that showed she was cancer-free. Another entry for her miracle journal.

 

Intrinsically we already know the answer to every question before we ask; we merely need to prod the unconscious mind into revealing what was already on the tip of our tongue

I would not say that you can learn "psychic ability". Psychic is anything of the mind and ability is an endowment. You can become familiar with the abilities of mind. You will always find yourself equal to the moment regardless.

To discover the height and breadth and width of the self, be willing to withhold nothing from the world. Know this, there will always be secrets in the world, as long as you have secrets.

Some have the ability's naturally, while others have to work on developing the ability's.

Ill try working on it then. I'm taking it you have to learn to connect more with intuitive senses.

 

I started by learning and getting good at meditation. I know a lot who recommend meditation as a starting place (and meditations is always good for you.)
