I've heard very briefly of people remembering surpressed things from their childhood under the influence of LSD and I was wondering if anybody could elaborate on this? Do you remember things when on a trip, or is afterwards that you begin to remember little things that gradually form a larger picture? Or is this all rubbish and LSD has no effect whatsoever on this particular subject? Many thanks to those who reply
The only thing remotely similar to this that I've experienced is that tripping has helped me remember part of other trips that I had forgotten. But I think that's more to do with being in the same state of mind. I've never remembered any supressed memories or anything, no.
maybe not suppressed ones necessarily, but it always brings back distant memories that I thought I had long forgotten, whether good or bad, and help me to understand them better. Hope that helps. I just woke up from frying all night, btw. I actually fell asleep while frying, but funny enough i don't remember dreaming about anything..just seeing all these neon colors behind my eyelids. lol.
I think its quite the opposite. In my experiences psychedelic drugs force you to analyse yourself and the reality in which you were placed. You are left to your own dominion and equiped with all the tools you will need to fix your ego from whatever problem you have encountered.
You don't remember. You relive. But only if you work with the acid rather than letting the acid do all the work. If you ride the wave during your time in the land of lucy, ANYTHING and everything (as you know it) is possible.. but by this, not for one second do I mean your place in the external World..
I wouldn't claim to have even ever seen the key glinting in the sunlight. sometimes, the key doesn't even LOOK like a key. sometimes it smells like plumbs and reminds me of fleeting birds.
