Hey everyone, this is Eli. I have a 4-year-old daughter. For the past 2 days, she has been constantly rubbing her eyes, and I noticed that her eyes have become red. However, she refuses to visit an eye hospital and cries hysterically at even a mere mention of it. I was helpless before her cries, so now I am looking for some home remedies to help her.

    What is the cause?
Could be allergies. It's spring. Do you have pets? This is most likely. You have to figure it out, or get her tested. Vacuum!

Could be Pink Eye, but the pain would be unbearable esp. if she rubs them.

If it's allergies she might have other symptoms.

Eye drops can help soothe irritated eyes temporarily.

Thanks for your suggestion. Eye drops did help. Turned out she got sand in her eyes while playing with our neighbour’s dog. Her eyes are all better now.
