Can Drug dogs smell oxycontin??

i have nothing to do on my flight which is in 6days and im wondering if it would be possible to bring 20mg of oxycontin without attracting unwanted attention

 

i've heard they can.. can't guarantee that answer though.

To us they don't. If you smell most any pharm you can smell that strange phram smell. I doubt they could smell it through stuff though.

I read that in another thread on here. I believed it because obviously they can smell opium and their noses are beyond our comprehension, but I guess most likely they can't..

 

slim's taken worse crap on a plane, p. cyanecense and LSD should be avoided for air travel though, I dont see why pills wouldnt work, I might have done it I just dont remember have of what ive done.

 

Drug dogs can be trained to sniff out anything with a smell. Some of the drug dog training places say that they can be trained to sniff out some prescription drugs. I doubt that many are trained to do that though.

 

Well I'm pretty damn sure that a drug dog could never sniff out LSD =P

I'm pretty sure one of the stupidest thing you could do is bring weed on an airplane. I'd be so paranoid.

Hahahaha!!!! Oh man. Not only is smoking not allowed on airplanes but could you imagine getting high on an airplane? That would be an experience.

yeah.... i wouldnt want to be acting weird while getting my ticket or going thru security. id pop it in the bathroom right before entering security. i really dont think theyd care if u had a small ammount of oxy tho. they're yours and not for sale. (quote unquote)

Dogs are truly trained to find anything, but since OPIATES are controlled narcotics, probably 70% of people going on an airplane have them in their bag, with a legal prescription...so it would be a BIG waste of time and man power just to search everyone to find a person without a prescription. At an airport, they would rather deal with the highly illegal drugs, but mostly ignore pills that can received at a pharmacy.

I'm curious about this as well. What can dogs smell at the airport? Hash, coke? Can they still smell it if it's hidden in one's body?

dogs can sniff out hash for sure, weed is easy for dogs to smell... but oxys and other pharmaceutical opies can not be detected by dogs, for gods sake people they are PILLS that have no smell dogs CAN NOT smell OC..
