Can anyone identify this plant?

Had this thing lying around. Not sure what I am supposed to do with it. Any ideas?

I think its for show only. not a drug plant. if its dry enough you could use it for decoration. Thats what I would do.

btw Potpourri is dried plant material with scented oils added later.

 

For the future: if you want a plant identified, its best not to disassemble it 1st.
