Hello everyone, I found these mushrooms growing when I was out mowing a friends lawn one day. I discovered them in Lancaster County, PA. They were growing under what I believe was a pine tree. They were very close to the field and not to far away from the woods. I have very high doubts that these are Magic Mushrooms but I thought, "Hell, I'll just ask around." The smell that they give off is a quite nasty smell, They do in fact smell like the Magic mushrooms I have had before but do not look the same. The types of magic mushrooms that grow in PA are: Gymnopilus luteofolius Gymnopilus luteus Panaeolus cinctulus Psilocybe caerulipes Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata Images - http://gyazo.com/4016f8882a50645b883c5fc9a6341233 http://gyazo.com/0bdf590fd60f7ec7187d95a6a42bee1c http://gyazo.com/6ff958b6a9a07f33356f1f953aeffa98 http://gyazo.com/110cd94f6fe891d5bc2a4d6a46e3d113 http://gyazo.com/b6693ad3476d480e5a5c65e5ca4d3830 http://gyazo.com/b7f41efb2d94d144ec8478265ee64999 http://gyazo.com/a9b52aa94faab2ad1ee0c7b4c9b7fb2d Thank you to all who can help me, Much love to everyone :daisy:
I wouldn't eat them unless you know what they are it's better to grow them yourself if your unsure of what your picking.
Does it bruise blue? Does it habe a blackish purple spore print? Pine forests are not ideal locations to find shrooms.... There are some species that grow there through.... Rare species
