    any cake fans out there? i've had the privelege of seeing them twice in concert. theyre one of my favorite bands. im anxious to hear their new stuff...

    Cake is an awesome band. They have the seventies and sixties kind of sound, but (at least to me) they aren't the time of band that you can listen to at any time and people who ahve never heard them can immediatly love them. However they are really good.

    Most people don't know about Cake though. They don't seem to be as commercialized. Like I've never seen a Cake music video or heard about a Cake concert. Oh well. Maybe the problem is that they are competing for the name which previously belonged to a delicious pastry. Maybe if less people liked the pastry cake they would know about Cake. Or maybe I'm a complete dumbass. Oh well.

    I love Cake.
    I remember hearing them on the radio in the 90s. When Comfort Eagle came out they played the videos for Short Skirt/Long Jacket on television.

    I used to be absolutely obsessed with them. I still like them. Although usually I only listen to the album Prolonging The Magic. I absolutely love Cool Blue Reason.
