Check out C-SPAN. They are showing live coverage of the protests in NYC. They are passing by Madison Square Garden. Looks like a few hundred thousand people with banners, floats, and music.
Yeah i'm watching it, it's awesome. Doesn't look like too much violence or looting which is good, peaceful demonstrations make a better impression that violent ones. Peace and Love, Dan
I always watch such events on CSPAN. No commercials, no comments, no opinions infiltrated, just the live event as it happens. Quite a turn out. No estimates as yet as to how many. However, they say that the march past Madison started around 12:00 noon and was still going on at 3:30. That's a LOT of people. Lot's of good signs I saw too....Just a few favs Bush is a Tush Let The Rich Fight The War Themselves Expose The 9/11 Coverup Republicans Cause Cancer Defeat Bush AGAIN Liberal and PROUD George W Bush...an Intelligence Failure.
