The world only exists as electrical impulses inside your brain, these come from sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. If you did not have these then the world would not exist, so theoretically the whole world is only inside your head. When your're down the street, you only know people are there because you see them, for all you know what you see could be a hallucination how would you tell the difference? Heres another thought, everybody sees and hears the world completely differently, for example on persons interpretation of say green may be completely different to someone elses, perhaps they would see it as red, but how would they ever know the difference? If shown a card that is apparently green, they will note that its green, when however in their eyes it could be a completely different colour than everybody else sees. So somebody else might see and hear the world so much different and you will never know, you simply have to go by your own interpretation. Also try to think, where are the thoughts coming from inside your head? Can you pinpoint exacly where every thought is coming from?
Another interesting thought is the idea that you are completely isolated, basically your senses only have a limited range. e.g. your vision is only really effective for a few yards (beyond that you cant really see much detail) and hearing and smell very limited too. Doesn't this make yourself feel very small, not to mention the lack of stimuli especially if your'e in a house, thank god for the tv and the internet! Something about my vision has recently been preying on my mind, when watching tv and say theres two people being shown at once talking or something, you can only see one person at a time, even though both in your sight, you can only see one at once, and the more you think about it the worse it gets.
Haha. Shit like that is pretty crazy. If you were the only dude in the universe, and you found out... you could have the coolest life ever. You'd be like... immune to fear totally! Then again... could you love somebody if you believed they weren't really there? It almost makes you wonder: Are love and fear inseparable, or are they perhaps the same thing? Think about that one!! That's my mindfuck-o-the-day.
haha i dont know about that one, but I have been wondering though... if the entire universe is encased in just one mind, all the other "people" which arent there, especially those really intelligent people, even smart computers are just within your mind. So does that mean that superior intelligence, inventions and all that is just part of you, so theoretically you are vastly intelligent etc and not knowing it?

A crazy mind trip for me is what about all the bugs and small critters in the world? They have got to have like a soul or something right?? Well with our minds, we can clearly tell that it would suck ass to be something with that little of a brain. It just seems unfair that i am blessed with this high of a conscience and that there is much more bugs in the world than there are humans. All those bugs out there better hope theres afterlife.

Love and fear are not the same thing. I fear spiders I have no love for them just pure hate. But i do believe love and fear is inseparable. If you love someone theres always the fear of loosing that person, unless your a vampire i guess.
Whether the world is substantial or just impulses generated and interpreted by ones 'brain' is not really important. You can only deal with the information you have.
