I'm just wondering how it goes, for anyone who has done it... Do you have to ask for it (is it behind the counter)? I've heard you need to show ID, which won't be a problem because I'm 18... but, do they actually take down your information like they do for ephedrine based medicine? Or is it just like buying cigarettes, and they only need to know you're of age? Thanks.
they rarely ever card me, i know one of the ladies that works there and rings me up so i usually make some conversation with her to distract from the fact i've been buying tussin from that store for 7 months now O_O i'm actually thinking about asking for her number.. lol..
im pretty sure they won't card you at all and if they do i think its just like cigg purchases. i think you can only get certain amounts at a store cause i've heard of people hopping around all the grocers and buying robo.
haha nice... the place i go to now has a self checkout with a bunch of kids from my grade working around it, so they always just approve the purchase without even looking at the item. the only reason i want to go to CVS is because their generic 8 OZ. bottle is only $1 more than i currently pay for a 4 OZ at this other place. definitely worth the extra sketchiness imo, at least a few times. but i can probably count on not having my info taken down? i have no problem getting carded, i just don't want any purchases showing up on a database for my parents house or anything if they need to enter it into a computer or something.
they won't take down your info, don't even worry about that. they only take down your info if you buy psuedoephedrine (because of all the fuckin' tweakers). its usually like 8$ for an 8oz at my CVS, for a bit if you had a CVS card it was 4.99$ (same as the 4oz)
yea ive gotten card everytime i purchase robo. Quite use to it now. They just check age and you're good to go. And i now have a great admiration for the weekly adds because they have specials on 2 robo bottles for 10bucks =D

They won't card you or anything. I guarantee you will have no reason to be nervous of other people's suspicions.
I used to feel so awkward when buying robo from stores and I really hated doing it. I REALLY REALL hated doing it. I always thought "This person probably thinks I'm a total loser for buying this DXM." I still did it a few times and only once did someone give me shit for it and I just told them something about how my sister had a cold or something or another idk and they sold it to me. Still though, I just thought they would get really pissed at me for buying it. But then I started working at a grocery store that sells robos and whatever else a grocery store sells and I learned that nobody gives even close to .0001% of a shit about someone buying medicine (or anything). For one, honestly not that many people know about DXM and most of the ones that do don't even care. It doesn't even come up as needing an ID at my place. The only people that care are store owners and those fags that care way too much about working at a place like CVS or the grocery store-you know, the ones that get like employee of the month and shit and have a bunch of stars on their name tag for customer complements (LOL). I actually found out about a really good DXM containing product from working there. It's store brand and contains ~360 mg of DXM and nothing else. It costs 3.99 maybe 4.99. Some kid came to my register one day and bought it and since I knew what he was doing I thanked him for introducing this to me and he told me it was great. Before that day I didn't even know that brand existed. Okay so I rambled a really long time, but anyway basically no they will just ID you at the most, and they might not even do that. Just make sure the cashier isn't the store owner
yea i only buy that crap when i'm sick (hella owns when you wanna be social for a bit but don't wanna be blowing your nose in front of people) and its a pain in the ass, they take down so much fucking information =/ thats hella funny lol
REALLY?? ive actually been trying to find something stronger. Its skwards buying two bottles at a time. I get nervous and im a hopeless paranoid lol.
