http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_query=glass+pipes&filter[0]=handmade&filter[1]=glass etsy is always home glass blowers with decent pipes and always good pecies. they have some of those super headie pecies for a higher price but. they have really good bowls, directly from the glass blowers. so support the glass blowers. order some bowls. post a website if you have one to recommended. everyone should check out etsy because your going to end up buying some nice bowl for like 5-15$
I'm just happy to hear someone on Etsy's not raping someone with their insane prices. You can't complain about not selling shit when your shit costs two paychecks.
So far every piece that I have owned is from Etsy each is a very nice piece! A got a really cool pipe for around $5 from ETSY and it's probably one of the strongest Ive owned. A lot of the glass blowers also offer some cool deals like if you ever break your piece you can ship them the broken glass and they will blow it into something different like a chillum for FREE.
I've found a lot of stuff I really want just in the past few minutes I've been clicking through. I'm overjoyed because now a new pipe means a trip across town to the credit union to deposit money and then a few clicks on the computer and then a little bit of a wait. I used to have to drive an hour just to see if someone might have something I liked.
overall i've always found etsy dealers to be pretty fair about their prices... dont get me wrong.. some people over price.. but overall its a fair market
Thought i'd also add that they accept PayPal and this was the main reason I discovered this website not to mention the awesome selection, prices and service.
Well, from what I've seen of the pipes I'd agree with you, but when it comes to hats, clothing, jewelry...junk like that...damn...I make some of that shit and I wouldn't charge people as much as some of these people do. On a similar note, anybody ever been to Regretsy? Oh...it's hilarious.
$10... i found this to be more than fair... and.. i got these shorts for $20 which i also thought fair
I don't see how people can like those 5$ bowls, talk about pieces of shit lol. Not to say there isn't good shit on Etsy, as there really is top quality pieces from some sellers, but the majority of the pieces are definitely of lower quality and craftsmanship. Glass is an investment, you really do get what you pay for, and most of the times people end up buying lots of shitty bowls over a lifetime instead of just taking care of a few solid pieces.
I'm too clumsy to spend too much money on glass. I've effectively shattered many pieces and thank god I've got a pipe now that's fairly thick, but I imagine one day that, too, will find itself in pieces in the trash. I don't think I'd spend only $5 on anything bigger than a pinch hitter, but $15-$30 is a good price range for me.
My $5 bowl is far from a piece of shit, Sure it's probably generic but it's not like I go around seeing everybody with the same pipe. It's durable not to small and works for what I need it for. Here it is:
We obviously have very different definitions of what qualifies as a "piece of shit" when it comes to glass. To me, that is most certainly a piece of shit, no offense though, whatever gets you high right?
Nowhere near the same price range, but like I said, I like to invest and then make sure I don't break my nice glass http://www.etsy.com/listing/65462708/earthy-heavy-horny-toad-honeycomb-spoon If you're on a budget something like this might due, it has a nice reversal cap, though I'm not a fan of the rasta colors http://www.etsy.com/listing/60933852/rasta-spoon?ref=cat2_gallery_40 This is pretty nice, though the flat end so it can stand up does look a little odd from the side http://www.etsy.com/listing/65993054/aztec-satin-rainbow-spoon?ref=cat2_gallery_37
I think it looks kind of cool. I also think the first pipe newradicalface posted was ugly as fuck. But that's just my taste.
