your straight really, all you got is 3rd and 4th degree felonies, which is nothin man. They get serious when you get to 2nd and 1st degree.

An example of a 3rd degree felony that I caught was possession of controlled substance, for one fuckin xanax bar. I got hit with a 2nd degree felony for selling weed but thank god that shit got dropped or I'd still be in jail.

You aint looking at more than 30-90 days in jail or two years probation the most. Thats petty you aint gotta worry about that especially since its your first offense.

good luck with your pd, 97% really dont do shit. And dont accept your first offer cuz its usually the worst one and your pd is just telling you to accept it cuz he dont give a fuck about you and just wants to get paid.

Do you know what happens at the 2nd? Thank you so very much. peace Geni

The first court date is the initial hearing where they tell you what your charged with. Usually 21 days later is the second court date which is your arraignment, where either the state will file the charges or drop them. At your arraignment, when the state decides what it wants to do, and for example lets say they file charges, you have the choice of taking a plea agreement (if they already have one) or taking it to trial.

Usually they wont have a plea ready on your arraignment though for really simple cases they do.

And to tell you the truth, it all depends on your public defender. I've seen PDs fuck people over and ruin their lives, and also RARELY seen PDs save mothafuckers, my friend Black took his girl PD to dinner when she got him out of jail and got his 5 year probation sentence revoked. He was one of the few lucky ones. A mexican guy who I was locked up with got fucked in the ass by his PD. I felt so bad for the guy cause he didnt know english and his PD practically forced him to take a plea of 18 months in prison followed by 3 years probation for an robbery he didnt do.

It all depends on your PD what type of deal you'll get.

I thank you for your concern. It is a bust with a person taking a old ER script to pharmacy and getting it filled that belonged to some one else. I have a story of why it happened. I dont do that It was one time. It so far has runed my life, I cant get a job because it or not the State of IL has nothing else to do but bust peddy crimes when there are real crimanils out there. Killing, raping, child moster, It sucks. Peace Geni

This offence can not prevent you from getting a job.. You need to get a job no matter what it is and refix your history. You are far from being shuned in society... Try not to use that as an excuse to stay unemployed.

A felony is a felony, not a 'peddy' crime. And you haven't been convicted yet. You don't have to admit to shit on a job application at this point. Get a job before you get convicted, if possible. You need a goos lawyer. That means $2000+ for a felony. Without a good lawyer, you could get screwed hard in court.
