Yesterday

 

Saw that Canberra got what some people got in victoria last night. Large hail.

 

Blowing a gale here

 

So, I'm in Coles today, felt like potato chips

Walked past the BBQ shapes, thought, na, I'll have chips this time

Walked another foot forward, did a a double take that was really a Deadpool kind of quadruple take

Wha wha what's this now

Meat pie, muthafuckin flavoured shapes?!!!!




Then I thought to myself, even though I have never thought of it myself, now why the fook, didn't anybody think of that like 20 years ago.

Anyway, haven't had them yet, had to drop the shopping home go out

 

Apparently a firefighting aircraft has crashed whilst fighting fires in mountainous NSW, killing all 3 heroes onboard. Our condolences to their loved ones.

 

Jeez, was a C-130, was no little plane

 

The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built by Lockheed Martin.

 

Oh fuck

 

Just heard that 3 american firefighters were killed in that aircraft. RIP to those involved.

I always chuckle when people are like "this country, sun one minute, rain the next" like oh okay, so like the same as every other single day in the history of the earth?

 

It's the wet season up in the northern states. That's why it's like that. They virtually have no winter.

 

Hope all the rain got to the areas that needed it.

Some of us got a dust storm on Friday

 

Seems familiar to the diminished ancient cultures that cultivated too much leading to floods that ruined their lands.
Once a bushfire burns everything there's just not much to capture or regulate or soak up water now, talking about an enormous amount of land now that cannot act as a sponge it once had.
Water gotta go somewhere.
