Bush smoked pot.

I guess he addmitted on tape to some guy before he was pres. Personally i hate bush. Him smokin weed doesn't really affect my opinion of him but i just thought it was interesting.

 

let me point out something taht might offend some people.
-Almost every one on this site doesnt like bush yet he smoked weed just like us
-you all say hes really stupid or whatever and look he smokes pot so by saying hes stupid and saying he use to smoke pot you know non smoking pot people are gonna stupidly put those together

um just cuz he smoked pot at some point dosent make him cool...and not all people who do smoke pot are cool either. who u are and what u do for others is what makes u a good person. not pot smoking... specialy one time when u were in college which i guess is prolly the story with most presidents

I'm not sure how you came to determine that one... starting an entire war without any base would definitely make me question the administration. It's a fucking joke how they manipulate the American media.

 

your right about the media, and the war was a little unjustified but i hate seeing people being unsupportive, at least support the troops if not the war. the war on terroism is definetley justified, the war on iraq probably could have been handled better but Saddam wasnt listening to reason, and when you have a southern military man who is trying to live up to the reputation of his father running the country what else can you expect? more reason? no you have to expect war. I ask everyone to at least support the troops because my dad is over there.

 

Ahhhhhhhh! Stop telling me to support the troops! First, that is a meaningless phrase...how DOES one support the troops, except by doing whatever you can to bring them home? Support the troops...HOW? Sit here and think about them now and again, while not doing anything to get them out of harms way?

Also, how is Bush a southern military man? He didn't serve in the military. He was in what, the coast guard? Not to shit on them, but he did it to avoid real combat, real service, during a real war...and he didn't even fulfil his obligation there!

I have to expect war...so I should just go along with it, if I think it's evil? Bullshit. You have an argument that is a house of cards built on sand in a windstorm, as do most people who support this war (including Bush). It will be like that until it is admitted that the war is about OIL.

 

Did anyone say fuck the troops? Because correct me if i'm wrong but I don't think anyone did. I'd love to have a support the troops but not the cause bumper sticker on my car. Just because we should support the troops doesn't mean we can't openly protest the war. That's only in Motherland Russia.

I don't know what you're talking about when you say Saddam wasn't listening to reason. We had plenty of UN officials going through his country. We were the one's who were not listening to reason and just jumped into a war which has no purpose except for conquering more US soil. We fucked up and that's the bottom line.

I expect a president to make rational decisions. WE DONT HAVE TO EXPECT WAR. THATS JUST FLATOUT BULLSHIT. We already had a war in afghanistan which no one would say wasn't justified. IRAQ WASNT JUSTIFIED WHATSOEVER. Saying oh what do you expect it's perfectly fine considering his dad was a war president makes no sense to me.

War is not a loose term for me. It is not just something that I think is ok for our country to do. There are certain times where it is right to start a war and certain times where it is just a disgrace to our country and what we stand for.

Trust me man I don't take any of this bullshit lightly. I take the shit that they do personal whether it's good or bad. Apathy is only going to allow these dickheads to fuck up our country more and make it more of a hell hole than ever before. I can't think of a single thing that this administration has executed that has made me say "hey good job".

And I'm sorry that your dad is fighting in Iraq. Hopefully he gets back safely and no more unnecessary blood is shed.

 

well, thank you trippin and jolta for your inputs. this is like the 43rd time ive been owned when it comes to politics. the only comment i have is when i say support the troops i mean if there is like a care package service happening near you to join that or if your religious include them in ur prayers.

 

That's a good idea, but it'd be better to get them out of the death-zone.

Hey, sorry if I seemed pissed when I wrote my post. I was, but not at you, just venting my frustration at the bullshit rhetoric I hear being spewed on every corner to justify this war, and I happened to be venting in your direction. Nothing personal.

i dunno, i guess i am partial to the war in some ways, i try not to be but seeing as my dads been in the military for like 25 years its kinda hard.

 

the war on terrorism is not justified. torrorism occurs more often these days because of the way everyone reacted. the more care you give to terrorism, the more terrorism becomes effective.

Did you people read the article and see exactly waht he said? not only about his political strategy

but that he obviosuly dissaproved of weed. he mustve found it really scary, caus he said he didnt want kids to experience it. or maybe jsut really powerful or something. because hes a silly man, he obviosuly feared what he didnt understand. its not cool to smoke weed and then get over it and oppose it.
