burnin cannabis with a candle

i always heard it was bad to use a candle to burn your cannabis, supposedly cuz the flame of a wax candle contains chemicals that shouldnt be smoked

so is that true?

 

If you're sucking air in right off the flame then yes... Evaporated wax is not a good thing to suck down into your lungs... But I can't see it being too much of a problem if you use it to get a cherry going...

 

A lot of candles have a metal wire going through them. You should NOT inhale any of this. I know some people who burn candles constantly have even gotten breathing problems from this, it even stains walls. BReathing in burnt fuel I would think isnt too good either. A candle is still probably worse than a lighter.

 

Of course if you base the pot a candle works fine...
