I'm trying to get over getting burned on some doses this weekend at a festival. It was white on white, the guy claimed was 150ug a hit that he laid himself...and that it wouldn't taste bitter. I tried a hit on Saturday night, and it was very strong tasting and had a slight numbing feeling. Almost like extra strong tasting 25i. It hit me in about 30 min, so I don't think it was a DOx. Everything points to 25i/25c or a combo. The trip was pretty nice. I took the hit out of my mouth a few times deciding whether it was worth trying it out or not. But, in the long run I took the whole thing, but didn't avoid swallowing or anything. I kept trying to ignore the fact that it had such a strong taste. I wanted to judge it on it's own. But it was useless. I can say that if it had no taste at all, I would not have doubted that it was acid at all. But knowing that it had a taste it seemed different. I had taken two hits of some pretty good acid on Thursday night. Real acid. In comparison I think it was much more of a positive mood enhancer than the white on white I bought. For some reason I really trusted the guy. I have seen him before different years. I looked for him a little after I tasted the stuff he sold me, but couldn't find him. I had planned on testing acid so that I could at least see that it did not have a strong taste, but for some reason I just trusted this guy. So....I learned a little, and will be more careful next time. I'm not going to toss the hits I have, and a buddy of mine went in on it with me, so I'm going to have to talk to him about it. I think he should still have to go in with me, since that was the plan and I wasn't supposed to be taking all the risk. But, I'll give him the option I guess. I have a feeling I'll see this guy again. I think I'll remember his face, and I almost feel like he had the same little pouch last time I saw him, so I might be able to recognize him that way. I'll talk to him then, and try not to worry about it much in the mean time. It's such a bummer. I thought I had bought more acid than I took this year, so I was coming out ahead. But, no such luck.
it's always a bummer when stuff like this happens. at least it wasn't bunk as in NOTHING, but i'd be weary about dosing an unknown compound at unknown dose (even though that's what LSD is when it's a new batch you've not tried...) i guess you bought quite a few of these then? sorry
Maybe invest in a test kit? Idk if those would identify 25x-nbome, but if you could at least identify what's on the blotters then you could take or distribute them safely. Even then you wouldn't know the dose. Stupid black market fucking everything up.
I have no doubt that you're right or anything, LSD seems to be disappearinrg in favor of fake shit, since the nbomes came around, but do bear in mind, lots of thick paper like WoW has it's own taste, and it can be chemically and nasty. I've had wow that I'm 99% sure was LSD, that tasted like ass. And as to the trip seeming less happy, this IS a psychedelic drug, your set was obviously not good, suspecting the drug you had just ingested. With that much on hand, you should invest in a test kit and see for sure what you have.
i've had some nasty tasting LSD blotters as well. even the red star microdots tasted like something - a little bitter. but they've feel VERY much like LSD to me, so the only thing i would think they could be is an LSD related ergoline. i've swallowed them right away at least once and had a strong trip. 25x-nbome isn't supposed to be orally active as you probably know. maybe this dude was just sloppy and got his doses all dirty?
maybe he was tripping and saw a cop in front of him and freaked out and tried to go left, but there was a cop, :willy_nilly: so he turned right and another oliceman: was coming from that direction. There's supposed to be something that it can be complexed with, that makes it orally active. I think. And there apparently IS a lot of it going around as acid now. But of course, like OP, you could suggest to someone that something is "clean" or contaminated with strychnine or just about whatever you want, and if they even might believe it, it will affect their trip..... even if it was just empty blank paper, in many cases.
it's my understanding that complexing it makes it more active sublingually / buccally, but not so much orally. not positive though. and i've read about it going around as L, i just think you'd have to be a newb to fall for that more than once. but i suppose that says nothing about whether or not it's occurring.

if said party was reading right now...don't they already know you are talking about them? you would kick their ass, but not let them read the name of the drug they supposedly sold you? we are just curious what other drug someone would sell on blotter. but actually misrepresent an nbome for it? what's the point?
I've found that the taste of bitter lsd blotters can be very nearly as bad and worse in some ways than nbome. From the taste of the last couple batches of blotters I had I was suspicious at first but all other signs pointed to them being strong LSD. Just saying the line between the two might be a lot thinner that you would think.
Desos i have WoW un-perferated blotter and it made my mouth num, the taste was almost so chemicly and gross that i almost spit them out. But the Trip came on within 30-45 mintues. Lasted about 8-10 hours (10Hours tail end diminishing effects) and asleep by the 13-15 hour mark. What the fuck did i eat? was it L or some bull shit?
