Bullshit about acid...

Acid seriously has more lies circulating around it than any drug I know, save weed.

People around here think acid and LSD are two completely different drugs. That if you take it you might murder someone without realizing it. That you will surely go to a mental asylum if you take it, and that it is usually smoked.

The list goes on and on. These things are coming from people who do drugs too. How do so many people have no idea what it is?

I would have to agree that acid and LSD are different drugs.


Most acid that's sold nowadays is really some research chemical, not LSD.

Of course, I'm not saying that acid isn't LSD..

Kind of like how a square is a rectangle, but not vice versa.

 

It is frustraiting. I hate when you're having a conversation about a different drug (often talking to some obnoxious drunkard) and they're like well at least I'm not on something that destroys lives, like ACID. *facepalm*

Indeed. The ignorance surrounding acid, as well as many other drugs, is astounding. The ignorance surrounding alcohol is equally astounding, because many people don't even consider alcohol to be a "drug", when it's actually one of the most dangerous drugs out there and destroys more lives than most other drugs combined.

haha One of my neighbors a few months ago said "I took this stuff a few years ago that had acid AND lsd in it". lol Another time, he was like "I can get some weed that has acid in it, and that shit will fuck you up". haha I didn't correct him, because I didn't want to make him look like an idiot in front of his wife

 

haha i was real trashed laying in the grass last summer at at party and talking to this guy about acid while we smoked a joint and he was trying to tell me this story about how he was smoking acid in new york and he tripped balls for an hour...i was just like "yeah...mmhmm i bet" and went back inside haha

Acid is LSD, or was back in the 1960-90s, can't say for now a days. d-lysergic acid diethylamide is its scientific name, hence the street name "acid".

It won't make you murder anyone, or go insane, and you can't smoke it because it's a liquid.

Can be a liquid. You can't smoke it because it's very very very delicate and degrades easily when exposed to heat, light, and the like. Also, the dosages are so small if you could, sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't, all of it could easily condense in your pipes resin and you wouldn't notice any change in the hit.

This one time I was tripping on LSD chilling in the driveway outside.. When all the sudden the window on the house sucked me up 2 stories!! Plopped me right on the floor, where I saw robot insects playing Inagodadavida..
