Has anyone ever heard of this? NOTE: I am not talking about cannabutter made from mixing ground cannabis and boiling it in butter to extract the THC. The "Budder" I am talking about is an extremely potent cannabis extract reported to contain up to 99.6% cannaboids. The Wikipedia article says: "Budder is reported as being the purest cannabis product available, at anywhere between 82% and 100% THC/CBN/CBD, making it several times more potent than the buds of the cannabis plant that are usually consumed (5%–15%). One hit of Budder is supposedly equal to 1 – 2 full cannabis joints. Also the high is reported as being more clear and longer lasting than "average" marijuana..." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budder From an article about "Budder" laboratory test results: " According to Dr Paul Hornby, a chemist and plant analyst who runs a company that tests cannabis products for purity and potency, "Budder is the cleanest, most potent cannabis product I've ever tested." Marijuana contains various cannabinoids, Hornby explains, with THC usually predominant. Hemp has barely a percent or two of THC. The best dried marijuana bud generally maxes out at about 27% THC. Sieved hashish averages about 45% THC. Bubblehash averages about 53% THC. Solvent-extracted products usually have more THC than bud, water hash or sieved hash, but none have tested as high as Budder, and Hornby says Budder is further distinguished because it does not contain any heavy metals, radioactivity, or other markers associated with inferior fertilizers used on source bud. "The top Budder sample was 99.6% pure," Hornby explained, "which means if you had an ounce of it, only a tiny fraction of a gram would be anything other than cannabinoids. We also tested Budder for toxins, solvents, molds, diseases, heavy metals and other contaminants. There were none. It's essentially just pure cannabinoids. I've tested a lot of cannabis materials, but this is the most impressive." Hornby's tests also found Budder contains 80 to 90% of its cannabinoids as THC." http://cannabisculture.com/articles/3589.html
it's nothing special, and to further the point i've tried it, the place i actually tried it at, is in the canabis culture article connected to that entry: http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/3589.html sorry to sound like the typical all mighty digitalldj, but i can honestly say i was probably one of the very first "public" people to every try budder the "dakine smokeshop" mentioned in the article: was the place i tried it, and by the article the first place to be released to the public, some of my friends at the time had read on article, maybe even perhaps that same CC one, wayyy back like 3 years ago, when they heard of this "budder" and the dakine smokeshop, we decided to roll down to Comercial drive to see if we could buy some when we arrived, we noticed the place was not even constructed yet, still alot of drywall to go up, bathrooms etc. but there was however a very sketchy iranian guy who i guess was connected to the creator of budder, we walked in and inquired about it, he said he could not sell us any, but would let us try some from his personal stash, so he breaks out a little container which contained what looked like gold sand mixed with honey, he found a little pin, divied up some hoots, and brought out the torch we each ended up having 3 free hoots of budder before we left the shop, to be honest i've been more fucked up off 1 hit of hot knifing oil before, but who knows it that was oil or fuckin Iso i was smoking either way, it wasnt the end all be all weed product it's made out to be, nor do i feel it's worth the money, trouble, time to get it.
