Bud a fruit or vegtable?

You think weed is a fruit or a vegtable?

the fruit(the ripe ovaries), and the vegetable(the inflorescences, subtending leaves, and stems) are combined in one. to answer this question you have to understand what the difference between fruits and vegetables is, and what the bud of the plant is.

 

For the sake of arguement I am gonna say fruit. Fruits are ovaries and the buds are the ovaries.

 

It got to be a vegitable, its not sweet or juicy.

 

is a chestnut sweet or juicy? no, but a chestnut is a fruit.

so technically wouldn't some fruits be concidered a herb? im sure there are some no-woody stemmed fruit plants that die after flowering.. tomato would be an example i suppose
