Every so often I feel the need to make myself a new belt buckle. This is the buckle I currently use. I think I made it about seven years ago. I've been wearing it so long that I lost track of when I made it.*

Anyhow, this is all welded construction. It's made from nine 1/2 " square hot roll steel slugs set in a frame of cold roll steel. I buffed the frame to a brilliant luster and left the scale on the slugs sto create a nice contrast. I've never weighed it, but it probably weighs about three quarters of a pound and tends to drag my pants down a little. They usually ride on my hips because I can only pull them back up so manytimesinaday. Lol. I have two prices for you. The first one is from when it was new, and the second one is as it looks now. Personally, I prefer it the way it is now, with the smooth rusted patina caused by contact with my skin. Actually, it's only rusted on the top edge. The lower edge still shines because it gets polished by my pants. At any rate, I hope you all like it.*
