What was their rationale for shooting the bear?

 

He crossed the Alps, coming from Italy.
The Goverment gave permission to hunters to shoot him as he was too dangerous. Of course they didn't have the time to bring him to its habitat alive as they are too busy in ripping off the people gathered for the world cup.

The most dangerous animal on the face of the planet is the human being... perhaps there ought to be an open season...

We did not have to go to Iraq to kill each other, look at LA, the Bronx, DC ect, killing everyday there. As for the bear well it looks ot be a grizzly and they are very well known to be an issue for us here in the states and Canada.
