Bromo Dragonfly

Has anybody ever tried Bromo Dragonfly? If so what is the trip like? Also I've heard people have died from it does anybody know if it's dangerous or not?

Of course it can be, but dosed properly, it shouldn't be THAT dangerous. I think it's LSD-like, but more on a DOX timeframe. But it's pretty hard to find info on it. Erowid might have something, but I've never met anyone on forums or anything who's actually taken it (and told me about it, anyways).

One thing to consider is it might actually be on some things sold as LSD, given it's low dosing. For things with LSD like effects but longer times or off-tastes, it could be an option. The duration might also be more dose dependent, allowing it to be passed off like that.

 

I have not tried it personally but i know a bit about it.

As the dose ranges between 200ug-800ug you have to be very careful so i guess yes you could call it dangerous if you were to be careless.

The people who died from Bromo-DragonFLY received packages from an RC dealer that had been labeled as 2C-B-FLY which has a dosage range of about 10mg so these people died thinking they were ingesting a different chemical.

With all the safer alternatives out there i think this is one that should be avoided unless you really know what you are doing.

 

Yeah I'm just having trouble finding any psychedelics at all right now unfortunately. I thought it sounded kind of cool and I wanted to try it, but obviously I don't want to die.

 

^^well can you get bromodragonfly? if it's not right there, easy to get, many other RCs are probably a lot easier to find.

does anyone remember what the mislabeled 2ce actually was, that people were dropping dead from a few months ago?

 

If you mean what that stupid kid sold, I think it had MDPV in it, and maybe other things.

 

i feel like around the time when that was all coming to light...there was at least a rumor of it being something like bromodragonfly (something extra potent) mislabeled as 2ce

and i'm not thinking of the 2cb-fly incident mentioned above.

maybe it was just one of the many hypotheses

 

I think I remember it being mentioned as a possibility, or at least referred to, here on the forums... But I'm pretty sure it's not what happened. I thought they just all tweaked balls and died of psychedelic+speed+4loco.

But still, when you look at the number of deaths and what they had to do to achieve death, compared to how many people will die of alcohol overdose TONIGHT....

 

^^ oh yeah, i agree. even if it WAS 2ce that killed them, they were snorting ridiculous amounts, combining with alcohol, etc.

but it's a perfect excuse to criminalize it...even though aspirin will kill 1000X more people. caffeine will take out a few hundred more. while the evil 2cx kills 3 people in 10 years.

not to downplay the tragic loss of life from a mislabeled product though.

 

Idk I saw it on Dr. Oz he was talking about two kids that died from it because it was mislabled 2c-e and he was showing how easy it was to order on the internet.

typically people say ~18 hours..supposed to be very similar to 2c-b, maybe a bit more physically stimulating, and stronger bodyload.

I'm pretty sure it indeed was bromo-dragonFLY as multiple sites, sources, and people confirmed it. At *first* the witchhunt began with cathinones, those were ruled out since the chemistry looked rather similar but still alien, my guess is it started there with media exploitation of bath salts and when the shoe didn't fit, police anthropologists & chemists from likely Minneapolis were called to consult in reverse engineering the "deadly drug", found a PEA backbone and looked to Google for the most popular legal(ish) PEA high and settled with 2C-E probably due not just to popularity but to intense tripping had at doses below 25 mg to satiate the 5 o'clock news in the backwaters of bum fucked Minnesota. So 2C-E got branded with the Scarlet Letter along with -C, -D, -H, -N, -P, -T-2, -T-4, & others I can't recall.
It was confirmed as BDF though. And the fine folks at chemicology.com were peddling what they either had had their lab fuck up unbeknownst to them or they were truly sick fucks. I'd guess they didn't know, but they're at large. The site admin, or them, anticipated LE's move and boogied before getting caught. Check BL, they have the full shebang on it. Really though it was an opportune misfortune for legislatures to fit 2C-x drugs neatly together with everything LHG sold at the time.
