my buddy came and visited me a while ago, and brought his vaporizer. we used it multiple times, then we tried it one time and everything seemed as it was going well. you turn it on and three L's come up (LLL) to signal it is heating up after you set it to a temp (356) everything works on it now, but it wont heat up and stays on the L's. It is less than six months old and I don't know nor does he what kind it is. I took off the bottom and all of the wires are fine. can i fix it?
Chances are you can? Maybe a wire came loose from the heating element.. take it apart. take a Pic and lets see it.. Or take it a part and trouble shoot it yourself.. It may have a fuse or Theromo couple there is damaged.
i'll work on pictures by tonight.. only problem is that on the inside the digital part that you set the temperature on, its superglued to a wood piece so i cant take much apart.
try steaming it to loosen the glue.. If not pry open it as gently as you can.. Well it could be a transistor, or a diode. Im not sure what the inside will look like.. But if it has a circuit board and you can see the parts.. Try smelling them, look and see discolorations.. If you only have a diode thats burnt out and you can identify it. Of the schematic is located on the inside of the compartment you may be able to id the burnt out part.. I also suggest that if the product has warrenty Id contact them first!! It may be replaced or fixed for free..
thanks for the help, i'll post pics later once i get it all apart. it was such a bummer when it broke half way thru the week, especially when you have white widow and some rolling papers.. we ended up making a gravity bong most of the time, but still not as efficient as the vaporizer
i couldnt get the pics to upload, sorry, they wouldnt have helped much anyway. i gutted the shit out of that vape and still can't find anything seeming to be wrong, so i'm just gonna take it to a head shop and hopefully they'll be able to help me out a little. thanks for the help anywyas though
haha I was thinking that also.. from his HD.. happens to me.. Use the attatchments VVV down below there in advanced settings. you tried to drag the image from windows thats why it didnt take.. i think.
thanks for the help. i recently got caught by my parents and hid my vape..but i thought my mom found it and stole the whip to it and didnt know what the actual box was so i kinda just let it be...But great news i found the whip i just hid it inbetween two hats since i have like 10 piles of 20 hats and i found it! so i'm off to a local head shop to get it fixed!
