What the hell is up with this? There is a world of difference between the barbaric practice of cutting a girl's clitoris off and an adult woman just getting a piercing! At least we know that there is a government more insane than the USA...just barely though.

 

I work in the NHS, I deal with young mothers (both ante & post natally), mostly in socially deprived areas. genital piercings are not uncommon (I personally wouldn't have one), but I support any woman's right to have whatever body modification she wants so long as she is an adult & sober when she has it done. I have not had any directives from on high about genital piercings which makes me think that this article is a bit of kite flying. I certainly wouldn't take it seriously!!!
