Breastfeeding other peoples babies!!!!

There was a article in a magazine about 2 sister who has babies about the same age and one had to go into hospital for some reason or another and her sister gareed to breastfeed her baby while she couldn't.

I seriously dont know how i would think about this in one way i think naa my baby my breasts - baby = breasts!!

in the other way i think well yeah my baby is hungry, i know the person more than i know the people who make formula stuff so thats ok, so would i - i think i would. If it was for something like i had to go to hospital or a emergancy appoitment.

In old times!! there used to be wet nurses who used to breastfeed all the babies and it was fine for another woman to do so - now its kinda wrong. But i would!!

 

My mom use to breastfeed any babies that came around. I was kinda weird to see at first but I got use to it.

i think thats really good - i do think iwould be a bit like ermm ok what u doing thats my baby - but after a while i would be fine with it. After all they used to do it.

it would be kinda cool if i went on a hippy outing and we all nf different babies kinda bonding with each a little bit - and with the mothers. I seriously think its a great idea

 

I LOVE my wife. She is a total militant breastfeeder. At our local coffee house I think everyone has seen her feed my boy.

It says something about a womans comitment to her child to me. Like saying I'm going to do what is best for mine no matter what you think.

 

Yeah i think its totally shit when people have a problem with it - i was in a coffee house once and some bloke shouted at the woman for feeding!!! i wasnt happy - its natural. I think people have a problem because breasts are sexual now but they never used to be as much.

Any woman who breastfeeds in public it makes me feel warm - its wierd it really is. My mum never BF me or my brothers or sisters in public and neither will my sister with her baby. I will, if people have a problem with me getting my babies dinner out its their fault nit mine lol.

 

lol. it's funny, because this is durango. there are titties popping out to feed the little ones left and right. and it's totally fine, as it should be. in SoCal, i'd never seen a single person breastfeed, ever. except my mother, and that wasn't for long. it's funny to me because there are farmers and rednecks running rampant all over the place out here, voting republican and going to church and all that. but in SoCal, supposedly liberal heaven, not a single tit shown that wasn't sexual. bizarre.

twinges? well, it feels like she's really into tae bo, but i'm not going into labor. lol. i've gota bout a week and a half, actually. i have to change that ticker.

i remember when my sister was nearly due we where all waiting - hopeing. In the end she was 1 and 1/2 weeks late lol

well, i have to have a c-section. i had an emergency c-section with kai, and i still have terribly blood pressure issues, though nowhere near as bad. but it's been creeping back up this last portion of the pregnancy, so no one wants to risk it, especially not me. so she's scheduled for the 23rd. it would be nice to have a natural delivery, because the c-sec recovery time is shit.

 

I've always wanted to taste breast milk.

aww poor you mynameiskc it would of course be better for both of you to have a c-section. My friend had 2 and shes now pregnant with her 3rd and they wont let her have a natural birth because the womb gets weaker or something lol. good luck though - do you know what you are having?

 

I actually think it's cool if a woman breastfeeds another woman's baby when it's needed and the momma can't provide... Except for one thing. Diseases. You never know what the substitute breast feeder might be passing on. You'd have to really know the person.

i cant remember what its called but they dress up like a baby - get BF - put in a cot etc. bloody freaky if u ask me lol

a little girl. the ultrasound was HILARIOUSLY obvious. she's gonna look just like her sister. which is to say, completely adorable.

as for my c-section, i spent 8 months on bedrest with kai, and by the time i had my c-section, i was sick and tired of laying down. plus i had those handy painkillers. i was out of the hospital ASAP and running around all over the place. i'm afraid i may have done myself a wee bit of damage jumping the gun like that. i've taken my lashings over it, though. the way i figure it, i've already proven i'm a woman by living through two pregnancies. i don't need a perfect natural birth for my "macha" moment.

I think it's perfectly normal and natural for a woman to breastfeed any child that is in need of feeding. Hell, even some men are capable of doing it!

If it were me, and someone needed her child fed, I'd do it. If my child needed it and I couldn't provide, I'd be all for it as well.

But I'm also of the thought, "it takes a village to raise a child." I believe that works for all aspects of child-rearing in some cases.
