Has anyone seen this? This dark comedy/drama is the best television show that I've seen in a long long while. The acting, the directing, the writing, absolutely everything is just great. The acting is the best I've seen on television, and the story's very wild and out there but so down to earth and realistic. I don't think of it as actors on a set like most shows. No major suspension of disbelief. The new episode (6) was one of the most exciting 45 minutes I've spent in front of the TV (Steelers' games aside). For those of you that need a quick description: high school chemistry teacher is getting in the meth game with a burn out ex student of his for extra money because he has cancer. TV Dramas biggest players: HBO, Fox, FX But with this and Mad Men; it's going to be interesting to see if AMC can make a move on it.
Ive seen it advertized and have gotten hooked on the ad.. but havent seen the show yet..... Damn TVO...
definitely a good show ...worth watching for a tv weekly show...even if you have a problem with the "meth" story line
this is the best show i've seen in recent memory, along with dexter! (..and i hate most television.) if you want to watch it but don't have television, you can stream it online at a number of places. that's what i do.
Breaking Bad is really good, from the only episode that I saw, which was the first episode. The whole thing was just great. This old Chemistry teacher with cancer cooking up Crystal Meth with a local hoodlum. It's funny.
