Just regular wheat bread cause that's all I had all the stuff for. They have some recipes though that look soooo good that I can't wait to try.

    Mmm..

    Beer Bread

    1 Small Loaf:
    1 c Flat beer
1 tb Olive oil or; canola oil
    2 1/4 c All-purpose flour; unbleached
    2 tb Sugar
1 1/2 ts Active dry yeast
    1 lg Loaf:
    1 1/2 c Flat beer
2 tb Olive oil or; canola oil
    3 1/2 c All-purpose flour; unbleached
    1/4 c Sugar
    2 ts Active dry yeast

Pour all wet ingredients into bread machine baking pan. Measure all other ingredients except yeast into baking pan. Sprinkle yeast over dry ingredients, being carefull not to get yeast wet. Use rapid bake cycle on your machine for this loaf.

    -----------------------------

    Beer Sourdough Bread

    3 c White flour
    1/4 c Gluten
    12 oz Sourdough starter
    1/4 c Warm water
    1/2 c Beer; flat
    1 tb Olive oil; optional
    1/2 tb Salt
    1 tb Sugar
    1/2 tb Yeast
Lots of fresh rosemary--at least 3 Tablespoons

Make dough in machine. Rise outside the machine in a warm place (see How to Make a Proofing Box). Bake at 375 for about 35 minutes.

    ----------------------------

    Beer Cheese Bread

    1 1/2 ts Yeast
    2 c Bread Flour
    1 tb Sugar
    1 ts Salt
    1 tb Butter
8 oz Flat beer (warm in micro or on stove)
    3 oz American cheese; (3 to 4)
3 oz Monterey jack cheese; (3 to 4); cubed
    (total of 7 oz cheese)

Ingredients should be at room temperature. Liquids (and 'warmed' ingredients) should be at 120-130 degrees.

Warm beer and American cheese over low heat. Cheese doesn't need to melt completely. Stir. Add ingredients in order given. Setting: white bread

i had two bread machines that i kept almost constantly running before my kids developed their wheat allergies. we would easily go through a loaf of bread every day. i used to use homemade bread to pay babysitters. i would usually make a light whole grain rye bread, with split, toasted hemp seeds. regular honey-sunflower oat and whole wheat bread were favorites too. i had many recipes i created myself.

when i left my ex, i had to leave the bread machines behind. by the time i returned to rochester, both bread machines were runied by the roaches in my ex's apartment.

No negativity towards you but I have to disagree! There is just nothing like homemade bread. Mmmm... My mom makes this great Portuguese sweet bread every year during the holidays; it's amazing. I'd love some right now. Wish I had a bread-maker because the process of making it by hand takes so long.
