Just read through a thread on the benefits of small breasts and a few women expressed views.

I'm genuinely interested in knowing why they were invented. Bras, that is, not boobs! lol

Were bras originally designed to support boobs, for female comfort, or for modesty, or were they designed by the man (it was a man wasn't it), to make clothing drape in a way that looked better for men? Perhaps it was so men would find women to be more sexually attractive?

Doesn't matter to me if a woman wears one or not (and I know some larger breasted women suffer back or boobs pain without one), but do you feel compelled in society to do so?
Large or small, I love them moving about naturally under clothing.

They're for support and protection. The smaller the breast, the less of this that is needed - but for B cups and larger, swinging and bouncing loosely can be painful at times and is also not good for maintaining breast symmetry as the body ages.
