I've been thinking about ordering Lorazepam but have seen a lot of debate on how brand or certain generic versions are better than others. How is this possible? I mean if 2 medications have the same amount how is one significantly more potent than the other?

Some of the prices are like this:

    200 tabs (2,5mg) - $90 - Ativan (brand name)
    200 tabs (2.5mg) - $60 - Leeb
    100 tabs (2.5mg) - $58 - Wyeth
    100 tabs (2mg) - $50 - Chobet
    100 tabs (2mg) - $50 - Ivax

The names at the right are the company that produces them. The only one I recognize is Wyeth. And of course the brand name of Lorazepam. So does it really matter whether I get the brand name or not? If it does, what makes the difference?

Where your going to find variations in potency is some foreign pharmaceutical companies. Some countries don't have as strict strict regulation in their pharmaceutical industry. For example, I'd trust pharmaceutical companies in Europe to be the dosage it claims before somewhere in the middle east.
