I'm honestly curious about this. Yesterday, I just remembered how my last bf asked me at one point if he could borrow my skirt so he could 'feel a breeze' lol...Then I looked further back and you know what, every guy I've ever dated has asked at one point, sometimes even on more than one occasion to borrow one of my skirts. They all always had the same explanation, that they wanted to feel comfortable and feel a breeze. I never had a problem with this and always let them borrow a skirt. They'd just wear it around the house. So my question is, have any other women experienced this? Did any of your bf's ask for a skirt? Guys, have you asked for a skirt? I wonder if a lot of guys are curious about wearing women's clothes, not in a sexual way, but I guess they assume skirts are comfortable and wanna try it out.
None of mine ever have.. maybe you have a nice skirt collection Ive had boyfriends borrow other clothes though and vice versa
this is a odd thread. I've never asked for a skirt. I have asked for panties, never wore them. There was a time when I wore them on my head for fun but never literally tried them on.
Hm. Actually all of the guys I've dated could have passed for gay or bisexual. Not flamboyantly gay or anything. They'd also tell me they were hit on by guys before. It's kind of interesting. I'm thinking maybe I should just date a chick.
ha, but I'm thinking I should date a girl because all of the guys I've dated turned out to be huge assholes. lol. I would say because of trends & fashion today and other factors, most people could be passed as bi. As far as I know, the guys I've dated weren't bi.
I always found it cute and fun when they'd try on a skirt. They'd dance around and look ridiculous and say "wow, I thought it'd be a lot more comfortable" and then usually jump on the bed...lol. So I guess this is just my crazy life. And I seem to be the only one who has bf's that ask to wear my clothes.. It'd usually be a big hippy skirt they'd try on. Except for the really skinny boyfriend I had that was also my height, we could share pretty much all of our clothes. That was a lot of fun.
a friend of mine used ta do my head in takin' my tights and stockings and stuff all the time without askin'.i did'nt mind him borrowing other stuff, twas just once or twice when they were my last new pair left it annoyed me.anyway, i solved that problem by just buyin' an extra few pairs for him as well when i was shoppin',an we all lived hapily ever after....
can say i never had the urge to wear my girlfriends skirts...or any other of their clothing... ....i've lost tons of my best shirts to various women because they all ''need a shirt to run to the bathroom'', room mates etc i hope to lose more shirts in the future
Recently I wore a skirt in public but it was for a laugh at a local event. Even wore a female type novelty wig too & a male g string. it was a warm day too.
This is exactly what it is a lot of the times, even if they don't admit it.~ As strange as it may sound, skirts have always been a man's choice of clothing, they are physically designed to be better for men than any other clothing when not in war time, although many still went into war with them in the past, it has long been a practical choice in tribal societies as they give maximum room to maneuver, they come off easy and are put on easier than shorts (which I'm not even sure existed that long ago), and provide a nice breeze that provides plenty of air and room to 'breathe' and does not suffocate the genitals, in medieval and up until recent 1800's they considered strictly a 'man's' way of dress as women wore strictly dresses and it was often a sign of nobility to have a nicely clean and kempt skirt as a man, it was only until the late 1800's that men started wearing something other than 'skirts', after a certain influential man was said to have no time to change into his 'skirt' for battle instead rod into battle with his pajama's, ever since then 'pants' or clothing that covered almost the entire lower body was favored to ride into battle with especially during war time it was said to be easier to fight in and probably gave those wearing them the 'illusion' being better protected since they covered almost the entire lower body.~ It is still considered very traditional and very manly to wear a 'skirt' in Scotland they call it a Kilt, especially if you are Scottish, and if you are Scottish it considered to be VERY traditional and manly to wear them without any underwear, the Scotts also considered it perfectly fine to lift up their Kilts after turning around and 'mooning' their enemies as an insult.~ Mix in the Puritans with the changing dress styles and you get the stigmatization that wearing a 'skirt' is the same as wearing a dress and you are trying to be a 'woman' by wearing one and a rather unclean immoral one at that.~ Cultures and times change societies' views.~
While you may think of the Scottish kilt as being a casual, easy to use piece of clothing, this is far from the truth, as a true kilt (as opposed to the ready to wear show kilts) are extremely long, and the donning of them can be quite complex - not only around the waist, but over the shoulder as well, with the use of the traditional pinning.
....right, sure, okay. When I want to feel a breeze around the house, I take my clothes off. I'm pretty sure that's the logical thing to do.
Thank you very much for that enlightening piece of information, I was actually suggesting the function of 'skirts' back in more tribal societies, but I love your additional knowledge about the Scotts, I've always loved everything about the Scotts and Scottland!~ ^_^ RooRShack ~ That's what I do!~ But, the point is that skirts were up until recent times either a man's piece of clothing or a sex neutral piece of clothing, and yes it does provide a good breeze.~
